Below are some of the questions that came up at the September 27th training.  If you can think of any other questions, please email us at plymoutharch@hotmail.com

What if it rains?
We expect that we will be excavating every day, except if it is predicted to have a better than 60% chance of rain that day.  We will be following the NOAA weather forcast which you can find here (cut and paste the address into your address bar)

Can I just show up whenever I want, even if I have not pre-registered?
Sure, the more the merrier.

What if I can't come on the day I registered for?
That's okay, things come up. If you would like to come another day, just email us or show up when you can.

What if I have to leave early?
We are not paying you, so you can do anything you want. We completely understand that while you would like to be there the whole three hours, things come up and you have to leave. No problem.

Where do I park?
We expect parking to be on the Pilgrim Byway, adjacent to the burial ground. If this parking arrangement changes, we will post it here.

When I arrive at the site for my shift, what do I do?
When you arrive, be prepared to get started right at either 10 am or 1 pm, whenver your shift starts. You'll get to the site and see the sign-in/ command table set up near the entrance to the site.  Just come up and sign in and we will get you going.

Are there bathrooms located at the site?
Unfortunately, no.  The closest bathrooms are down the street at Dunkin Donuts.  We recommend that you go before you arrive.

What if I signed up for one task but decide I want to do something else?
That's fine, just let us know what you would like to do.  This dig is education and more importantly fun.  We want people to go away with a positive experience so you can do what you really want to. We are flexible.
